9CT Rose Gold Victorian Antique Carved Locket Pendant

A beautiful antique locket in 9CT rose gold back and front. The central shield plaque is hand carved with the words 'May', with a border of very intricate carving of foliage and scrolling motifs. Both sides display very fine detailed carving.

The inside shows two photo compartments and images, one protected with glass, the other is plastic. We see no notable hallmarks, however this has been XRF tested as 9CT (375) rose gold back and front.

Era: Victorian 1880s

Condition: Excellent. No visible damage or dents. Carving detail is clear with very minimal wear. Minor wear and tear are expected in antique and vintage jewelry. Please see the photos for further detail. A complimentary polish & clean is available upon request.
